One method builds five qualities

A man pressing a SPIKE block, seated in a weight room
Strengthstrength that starts at the groundMuch of the resistance comes from your own engagement, gravity, leverage and pressure against the environment — no weight stack, no machine.
An athlete holding a SPIKE block on a training floor
Coordinationmany parts, one functional wholePositions ask the hands, trunk, hips and feet to participate at once, so the body organises as one system rather than isolated parts.

Awarenessknow what your body is doingWhere is your pressure? Did a hand relax? SPIKE turns a hold into an ongoing conversation between position, tension, pressure, breath and time.

Controltension you can keep, and restoreFatigue shifts the position; you notice, restore the engagement, and keep breathing. Fatigue becomes feedback.

Adaptabilitya method that meets you where you areChange the height, the angle, the leverage — the same principles work across very different bodies and starting points.

Geometry meets physiology

Built around position, designed for your body

An athlete establishing a SPIKE position on a training floor

01 — Establish

Set the geometry

Carefully constructed whole-body positions change what is mechanically available — height, angle, contact, spacing, reach and leverage. The position should meet the person, not the other way around.

02 — Engage

Create the Body Lock

Hands, arms, shoulders, trunk, hips, legs, feet — connected to the position through muscular engagement and pressure. Not rigid, never breath-held: one whole-body event.

03 — Hold

Stay long enough to notice

Muscles fatigue. Pressure shifts. A hand relaxes. You notice, restore the engagement, and keep breathing. Fatigue becomes feedback.
